The Patient Experience
Physician Referral
The journey begins with a referral from your physician, ensuring that your care is coordinated with your medical team. This step allows us to fully understand your specific needs and develop a customized plan for your orthotic or post-injury care.
Insurance Verification
Our team will gather all necessary insurance information and authorizations before your appointment. This step ensures a smooth process and provides clarity on coverage, helping you understand any out-of-pocket costs for self-pay items.
Evaluation & Fitting
During your first appointment, we conduct a thorough evaluation tailored to your condition and prescribed treatment. This may include gait analysis or detailed assessment of your foot, ankle, or other affected areas. From there, precise measurements are taken to ensure your custom orthotics or bracing devices provide optimal support and comfort.
Device Fabrication
Custom orthotics and post-injury devices are fabricated based on your evaluation and measurements. For most custom devices, this process typically takes 2–4 weeks, while off-the-shelf items may be available immediately. Each device is designed to meet your unique anatomy and recovery goals.
Follow-up/ Adjustment
Once your device is ready, we ensure it fits perfectly and functions as intended. Our team provides follow-up appointments to make any necessary adjustments, addressing fit or comfort concerns. We also honor a 90-day warranty on custom items and coordinate with manufacturers to provide ongoing support when needed.
